What a start to the season. In the first full month of the new season we already have two contenders for the heaviest fish trophies. Dave Summers took this sleek 6lb 10oz rainbow from Rutland on a buzzer and Tony Smith caught a fantastic 7lb 7oz brown at Pitsford. Will they be beaten? It’s early days yet, but they have certainly put down some good targets.
